Being prepared
PAIA manual
Our manual under the Promotion of Access to Information Act, and how to request records in the meantime.

This manual is being prepared. It will be completed and published here before Beyond is offered for sale. Until then, you can still ask us for records: write to hello@beyondprop.co, and we will deal with your request under the Promotion of Access to Information Act, 2000 (PAIA) and the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
The completed manual will follow section 51 of PAIA and the Information Regulator’s guidance, under the headings below.
What the manual is for, who it applies to, and when it was last updated.
The company’s registered name and number, the head of the private body and the information officer (with any deputy information officers), and our postal address, street address, telephone number and email address.
Where to find the official guide on how to use PAIA and POPIA, which the Information Regulator publishes in each official language at inforegulator.org.za.
The categories of records anyone may have without making a formal request, and how to get them.
The records we keep because another law requires it, and the law concerned.
The subjects on which we hold records, and the categories of records under each.
As POPIA requires: why we process personal information, the categories of people it concerns and the information we hold about them, who may receive it, any planned transfers outside South Africa, and how we keep it secure.
How to make a request on the prescribed form, the fees that may apply, how long we have to respond, and the grounds on which a request may be refused.
Where the manual is available, free of charge, on this website and on request.
